RaCeR 2 Study Website Privacy Notice 

Introduction

This Privacy Notice is for the website, www.racer2study.co.uk. It describes the collection, use and disclosure of your information collected when you use the website. 

It does not cover the information collected as a participant of the RaCeR 2 study. This is described in the study patient information leaflet, and here: https://www.uhdb.nhs.uk/research-how-we-use-your-information 

What information do we collect?

The site does not collect any personal information about those using this site or track and log information about users, but it does collect traffic log data, which uses information of computers using the site, pages looked at, geolocation (country), time of day and type of web broswer used. none of this information is linked to individuals. 

Cookies

A "cookie" is a small piece of information that a website assigns to your device while you are viewing a website. Cookies are very helpful and can be used for various different purposes. The Site uses the following types of cookies:

We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and your information. Although we take reasonable steps to safeguard information, we cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorised access or abuse our Site, and we make no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that we will prevent such access.

Updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section. Your continued use of the Platform, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.
